About Me

I am a third-year PhD student at Syracuse University where I study mycorrhizal ecology in temperate forests in Dr. Christopher Fernandez’s lab. My current field sites are located in Huntington Wildlife Forest in Newcomb, NY and in Heiberg Experimental Forest in Tully, NY.

My research focuses on the influence of mycorrhizal fungi on biogeochemical cycles and carbon persistence in soils. My main focus is how these dynamics change across tree host identies and soil depths.
